There is no external win that will satisfy the internal longing that we have. Unprecedented times, especially now in light of the coronavirus has left our internal and external worlds shaken. Here are some scriptures to meditate on. Remind your soul of the confidence you can hold true to. Be Encouraged!

Proverbs 3:24-26 (TPT) No one of life’s test will cause you to stumble. You will sleep like a baby, safe and sound — your rest will be sweet and secure. You will not be subject to terror, for it will not terrify you. Nor will the disrespect be able to push you aside, because God is your confidence in times of crisis, keeping your heart at rest in every situation

Ephesians 3:12 9 (TPT) We have boldness through him, and free access as kings before the Father because of our complete confidence in Christ’s faithfulness.

Hebrews 4:16 (TPT) So now we come freely and boldly to where love is enthroned, to receive mercy’s kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthen us in our time of weakness.

Isaiah 32:17 (NIV) The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.

Nehemiah 6:16 (NIV) When all our enemies heard about this, all the surrounding nations were afraid and lost their self-confidence, because they realized that this work had been done with the help of our God.

Philippians 1:6 (NIV) Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Acts 1:8 (NIV) But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

2 Corinthians 3:5-6 (NIV) Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Psalm 143:10 (NIV) I just want to obey all you ask of me. So teach me, Lord, for you are my God. Your gracious Spirit is all I need, so lead me on good paths that are pleasing to you, my one and only God.

Psalm 20:7 (NIV) Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.

If there is one thing we know for sure is that confidence in earthly things is like shifting shadows, but having confidence in God (God-fidence) far outweighs everything else.
